MY 30 day challenge
It’s pretty simple!
Do some type of exercising for at least 30 minutes every day. SOMETHING. Not too bad considering it is only 30 minutes of my day to do this. feel free to join me if you wanna.
Of course, today is day 2 and I am coming down with a nasty cold. But I am still about to get my workout on for at least 30 min. I may just have to take it super easy.
Bye Bye kids
Oh how I’ve missed you….
Soreness.
I worked out yesterday and am SO FREAKING SORE. I love that damn feeling. I didn’t even do much. Treadmill for 25 minutes, ab work and swimming. But I am feelig it today. I love this feeling. Want more now.
Anyways….downside is I’ve been eating like crap so I’m gonna work out extra hard today see how many calories I can burn. Its gonna be a looong gym day after work. LOOKING FORWARD TO IT!
Motivation Station
I haven’t been to the gym in weeks.
I have thought about it almost everyday, yet I find some reason or another to not go. It makes me Really pissed off at myself. And I’m fine with that way of thinking. I do not wanna be this heavy for my birthday and I sure as hell don’t want to be this heavy at Burning Man.
I’m going to be pretty broke the next few months. I have rent to catch back up on, burning man stuffs and also driving lessons. This one is most important because I think this will help in my going to the gym more. Taking the bus has never really gotten on my nerves as much as it has been lately. Like I’m starting to get impatient. I just want to get to the gym, workout, get in my car and go where I want to afterwards. I work at the airport and the company I work for doesn’t really allow us to bring anything that dissent fit into this little Bitty tote they give us. So if I wanna workout before work I gotta get up like 6 hrs before work to go. Or after work, I gotta go home first and then go to the gym. Its just not happening.
At what point do I get motivated enough to stop making excuses? If I think about the gym everyday, why don’t I workout? These are questions I constantly ask myself. Hopefully one day I will find the answer. I am Prolog not going to make my March goal weight but I will try my damndest to get close.

OMG IVE MISSeD YOU GUYS!
WTF…its been weeks siince I have been on here. Sad to say, but it has also been weeks since I have been really giving it my all in the workout and weight loss aspect of life.
A few things that I have learned in the past few weeks:
#1- I really eat bad and work out less when I am really stressed about something. I have been planning a fundraiser for over a month now. The closer the fundraiser got the worse I ate and less I exercised. I really have to focus my attention on fixing that problem. The fundraiser was a success so I can get back to focusing on my goals. I got some pounds to shed here people.
#2-At very high levels of stress, working out does help me. When I was super stressed out the past few weeks, even though I didn’t eat my best, there were a few occasions when I made myself go to the gym. BOY did I feel better when I did. So now that I know I feel better, I have to make myself do it.
#3- I lack some serious willpower. Mostly, if people around me are eating bad, it is only a matter of time before I give in and enjoy the badness as well. This is not good and I really have to limit myself on what I can eat when I am out and about. If this means not going out to eat as much, then that is what it means unfortunately. I will be paying close attention to this in the upcoming months
So yeah, I am back now and I shouldn’t have that long of a hiatus anytime soon. I got a lot of catching up to do on my tumblr when I get home from work tonight!
becominghealthymotivation-deact asked: Maybe dailyburn or so.
I will definitely look into it! Thanks sugah
I need…
Something that counts calories burned, how many steps I am taking, how many miles I ran and what not. Does anyone know of any good devices. I will take watch type things and even phone apps (im android!)
I am going to start incorporating more on my own exercise that will not have me on a machine that counts the calories. Any help would be awesome. Suggestions?
So I started my day off with a mini work out. This is something new that i am going to try to do from now on. Hopefully i can do some kind of workout everyday except sundays. EVEN when i am at my boyfriends house; I gotta do some kind of aerobic activity.
So today I did the above DVD. I did about the first half. It is good. You start working up a sweat during the warm up! Jillian is known to e a hard ass. Wish I could work with her in real life (one day maybe).
Anyway… I was pressed for time so I did just the first half. There is a lot of jumping in the DVD which bothers my knees something terrible. But i easily modified it. And she does give you some examples for the modification. Ypou are also forced to squat often, which is really good for your legs, but again…hard on your knees. If you have knee issues, just pace yourself and don’t over work it :) I definitely worked up a sweat! I ended with some ab work (crunches, leg extensions, bicycles, side bends). it felt sgreat thus far. Let us see how the day goes energy wise. Off to shower then work. Later lovelies :D
